It can also reset the service reminder lamp (SRL). It's compact format makes it easy to use and carry around. The PPC Diagnostic System is connected to the diagnostic outlet of the car (OBDII). The PPC Diagnostic System is able to read and erase all DTCs for all control systems on a Volvo car. In an ordinary Volvo S60 there are more than 10 different control units that control the engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, radio, air conditioning, electric windows etc. The PPC can handle all control systems within the car. The PPC is able to perform fault diagnostics on nearly 40 different control units and more than 8000 DTCs.

The PPC Diagnostic System works with all Volvo's in the 40N/50/60/70/80/90 series from 1999 to 2006. It is also possible to upgrade the software developed by BSR on the PPC to cover future models.
